1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Cloud Clipper ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension and discontinue use.

These Terms apply to the Cloud Clipper browser extension and the cloudclipper.app website, operated by Folio ("we", "us", "our").

2. The service

Cloud Clipper is a free browser extension that converts web pages to Markdown format and saves them to your Google Drive account. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time, with or without notice.

3. Your use of the extension

You agree to use Cloud Clipper only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Extension to:

• Clip or reproduce content in violation of copyright or intellectual property law
• Circumvent access controls or scrape content from sites that prohibit it
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension or its components
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works from the Extension

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of clipped content complies with applicable copyright law and the terms of service of any website you clip from.

4. Google account and Drive access

Cloud Clipper requires you to authorise access to your Google Drive in order to save clipped files. By granting this access you acknowledge that:

• You are authorising Cloud Clipper to create files in your Google Drive on your behalf
• You remain responsible for the content saved to your Drive
• You can revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's Terms of Service.

5. Intellectual property

Cloud Clipper, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Folio and protected by applicable intellectual property law. The Extension is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Cloud Clipper is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that clipped content will be accurate or complete. We are not responsible for any loss of data or content.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Folio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Cloud Clipper, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damage to your Google Drive.

8. Privacy

Your use of Cloud Clipper is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
